How to read the result

The grade (A–F) and the 100-point scale are a rough guide: points are deducted for analytics, advertising and social services, externally loaded Google Fonts and missing mandatory links. Every finding has a concrete “what you should do” step. An expandable block shows how the score is calculated.

Frequently asked questions

Is this legal advice?

No. The scan is an automated technical analysis and provides pointers, not a binding legal assessment. When in doubt, consult a law firm specialising in IT law.

How accurate is the scan?

It checks the HTML the page delivers on first load without a login — reliable for directly embedded services and mandatory links. It doesn't fully see what loads via JavaScript; the report is open about this and points it out.

And if a cookie banner is active?

Then the actual trackers usually load only after clicking “Accept” — the static scan can't trigger that. Whether nothing really loads after a rejection can only be checked by a test with JavaScript enabled (coming with monitoring).
